Marlon Darton is one of Infiniti of Scottsdale's longest-tenured and most-loved salespeople. If you've bought a car from Marlon, you know what a wonderful man he is. A friendlier, more congenial, more courteous and respectful salesperson you won't find anywhere in Arizona.
Marlon's been with us at Infiniti of Scottsdale since the mid 90's, except for a brief period of time when he went across the street to Lexus. He makes friends wherever he goes, even today some of the Lexus guys still come over just to say hi.
When you meet Marlon, you will immediately be impressed with two things: one is how genuinely nice he is, but the second is inescapable as Marlon is a very large, very powerfully built man. This is not by accident. For many years, he has been a devoted body builder. For some years in the 1980's and 90's, Marlon competed on body-building's world stage. He reached the top of this world achieving the title of Mr. Universe. He's a humble man, but he parlayed this notoriety into a movie career, starring in several successful Hollywood major releases.

James Bakalar joined the New Car Sales Team at Infiniti of Scottsdale in the Spring of 2007. He has been very busy ever since, and James will tell you - he's found a happy home here. He had been with a Phoenix BMW dealer and he had come to appreciate finer luxury performance vehicles. But he wanted a work environment that was friendlier, provided more support and gave more care and training to its sales employees. That's exactly what he found here at Infiniti of Scottsdale. As a bonus, he found a fun place to work, a place where he can make a good living and a place which James makes better just by being here. After living in Ohio for all of his 33 years, James made the move, like many of have, to the sunny Southwest. He had entered the automobile business in 1999, working for BMW, Nissan and Chrysler. Before that James had been in the landscaping business. As a youth, James was a terrific athlete playing football, basketball and running track.
Since moving to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, James has "rediscovered" the rewards of strenuous physical activity. Recently, he ran his first 26.2 mile race, competing in the P.F. Changs' Rock'n'Roll Marathon, finishing in a very respectable sub-4-hour time. James reports that he enjoyed the experience, wants to run faster and is thinking about running another marathon in June in San Diego. Just about every morning, you will find James on the trail, trekking up the side of Camelback Mountain. When he can get away, he hikes the Grand Canyon and knows the Bright Angel Trail very well.
No stranger to Scottsdale's night life, will often be found in Old Town's better restaurants and bistros. He has come to love the social life available here in warm and friendly Arizona. Needless to say, James is making a very nice life for himself since leaving the rigors of cold Ohio.

Stephen Fitch is a valued member of Infiniti of Scottsdale's team of mature & professional sales people. 'Fitch', as he is most often called by his friends and work associates is a guy who has centered himself on achieving excellence. And day in, day out, Fitch achieves it.
Like all of our Sales Consultants, Stephen Fitch is fully Factory Certified for all Infiniti vehicles and Certified in the Infiniti Total Ownership Experience sales process. Fitch was a part of the Pinnacle Infiniti team for several years before the recent merging of the two stores. With Pinnacle, he ranked very high among Infiniti sales people, not just here on Frank Lloyd Wright, but also among Infiniti sales people throughout the Western Region. Fitch has ranked 1st in Sales and has also ranked 1st in CSI score (customer satisfaction). Highly respected by his fellow sales people, Fitch earned these honors through hard work and by truly caring for the customer and their needs and wants. Tirelessly working for the customer is Fitch's secret.
And tireless comes naturally to Stephen. Graduating from ASU in 2004 with a BS in Communications, Fitch was also very busy in extra-curriculars. As a four year member of ASU's elite Varsity Track Team, Fitch's 400 meter personal best is a blazing 46.33 seconds. He was a member of the 4x400 Relay Team which ran the 2nd fastest time in NCAA Collegiate history.
Stephen grew up in Danville CA and he returns there often to visit his mom, a busy teacher, and others in his family. Fitch believes in what he sells - you'll see him driving his own 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe, with the Premium and Navigation Packages. You may see him in one of his favorite restaurants - Einsteins, Kona Grill or City Hall. And Fitch invites all to take him on in a game of Wii - his specialty is Mario Kart - and he's not humble in the slightest about his prowess with this game.

Illias is from Elmhirst, IL and has lived in AZ for 2 years. He is fully certified on all Infiniti vehicles and has 8 months of experience working with Infiniti models. It's his first year in the automotive business but he has sold radio advertising for the auto industry for years. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University and went to work for the White Sox for 2 years before moving to Arizona. He moved to Arizona for work and golf! Illias is a huge Chicago Bears/Bulls/Blackhawks and White Sox fan! He loves cooking, fishing and golfing!

Kerry is from Saginaw Michigan, but has called Arizona home for the last 21 years. When she's away from the dealership, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, Joshua 22 and Heather 30.

Our employee spotlight this month is on Infiniti of Scottsdale Service Advisor Johnny Gompf! Mr. Gompf has lived in Arizona for 40 years and is originally from Tucson. He has 10 years of Infiniti experience and has been certified by Infiniti since 2000. Mr. Gompf has 13 total years of auto experience, and would be happy to advise you on any Infiniti questions you might have!
Johnny Gompf's parents live in Washington, and he has a brother and a sister that live right here in the Valley. Mr. Gompf's sister drives Infiniti, and is happy to have a knowledgeable brother in the Infiniti business to speak with! Born and raised in the Valley of the Sun, it is no surprise that Josh exudes a sunny demeanor and enjoys spending warm days on the golf course. As a Service Advisor, his naturally jovial personality and terrific sense of humor are huge assets. Josh has worked in the service industry for over ten years, the last five of which have been with Infiniti of Scottsdale. When our customers come in to get their cars serviced, Juan Samayoa is one of the first faces that they see ? and they are always greeted with a smile! Juan's charismatic spirit and many years of experience in the auto industry make him a valuable team member. He has worked in the auto service sector since 1992 and is Infiniti Full-Line Certified. For the last four years, Juan has been a Service Advisor at Infiniti of Scottsdale and exclaims that he truly enjoys his job!
Spending time with family and friends is important to Juan. He adores his wife and two children, and outside of work, he loves to spend quality time with them. Music and travel are also two of Juan's biggest passions. He travelled a long way to what is now his home town, moving from Guatemala City to Phoenix, Arizona over 21 years ago. Today, he loves to take trips and share music with his family.

Mark is originally from Poland and has now lived in Arizona for over 20 years. He considers the Valley of the Sun his home and enjoys living in a state that has nearly year-round sunny skies. Outside of work, Mark loves spending time with his lovely wife Anna, his daughters Edyta and Justine, and their adorable puppy Rockie.
Mark first started at Infiniti of Scottsdale in 2004, and for a short period of time left to manage another Infiniti dealer's Service and Parts Departments. Now that he is back, he hopes to work at our store for the rest of his career.
