Scottsdale Culinary Festival

As the longest running festival of its kind in the United States, the Scottsdale Culinary Festival draws more than 40,000 visitors looking to enjoy fabulous food, fun and festivities (not to mention idyllic weather!)

Since the event's humble beginnings in 1978, the Festival has grown to be a community favorite that hosts nearly 40,000 guests from all over the nation with over a dozen events, hundreds of restaurants, dozens of chefs and countless fine wine and spirit selections.

The Scottsdale Culinary Festival was started by Scottsdale League for the Arts, a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to supporting local arts programs, as a way to raise funds for capital improvements needed at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts facility. This was the organization's primary goal for 15 years. However, in 1992 the League created a grant program in order to further support the arts.

Since the grant program was implemented, Scottsdale League for the Arts has donated more than $3.5 million to numerous non-profit art and art education programs throughout the Valley of the Sun. This includes scholarships for students in culinary institutes and high school art students, grants to non-profit arts related organizations, and donations to the Arts in Education Council and the Scottsdale Cultural Council.

he 33rd Annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival in 2011

at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts!

John Stanley and Sally Scardino-Sivek spent all day Saturday and Sunday at the event and enjoyed the festivities at the Infiniti of Scottsdale booth. Even though the weather was not entirely cooperative, John, Sally, and about 24,000 others enjoyed the food and fun! Our Infiniti of Scottsdale booth was flanked by a gorgeous Infiniti QX56 and an M56 Sport, with John and Sally giving real-time presentations on both vehicles. Pro Auto Sports team member and IOS Trackdays affiliate Dylon Hatch was also on hand to talk to the crowd about our partnership and latest Trackdays Event.

About 150 people entered our drawing to win jewelry from Silpada Designs or a one-day performance driving experience from Pro Auto Sports at Firebird Raceway! We drew eight lucky winners: six won the Pro Auto Sports Package, while the remaining two prizewinners took home stunning jewelry from Silpada. Infiniti of Scottsdale was proud to feature the 2011 QX56 and 2011 M56 at the festival.

Lights, camera, fashion! The Scottsdale Culinary Festival partnered with 101.5 JAMZ for the Eat, Drink & Be Pretty Event, one of Scottsdale's best annual parties.

Local restaurants and fashion aficionados gathered for another fabulous Eat, Drink & Be Pretty Event at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. John Stanley, Lee Jones, Stacy Jones, Stephen Davis and James Bakalar of Infiniti of Scottsdale were on hand for the event. Runway models flaunted the latest styles as onlookers sampled some delicious food and wine. If you missed out on this year's chic party, be sure to mark your calendar for 2012!
