What's New for The 2021 INFINITI Q50?
The Q50 is mostly the same in 2021, as it was in 2020. However, there are a few more standard safety features on select trim levels. In 2021, the Q50 comes with a turbo engine's same two choices for maximum strength and power. The Q50 has several standard luxury features, safety items, and creature comforts on all five trims, but there are available add-on options to enhance your ride as well.
The Q50 stands out for its large, spacious cabin that seats five and its comfortable seats, ranging in material from simulated leather to premium leather at the top. The INFINITI can be accessorized with packages on all trims for a unique appearance and more amenities.
2021 Q50 COMES WITH AN AMAZING ARRAY OF FEATURES
You have a choice of four trim levels for the INFINITI Q50 in 2021. The first trim level is the Pure. This trim is equipped with standard LED exterior lights for a bold design and safety. Its interior begins with simulated leather seats. Its front seats are power-operated for convenience.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, added as standard features in 2020, return in 2021 as well. Dual touchscreen displays are another highlight of the base trim. Some advanced safety aids are included, such as automatic emergency braking and forward collision mitigation.
Stepping up to the Luxe adds a few more standard amenities such as a sunroof and navigation system. It also unlocks the option for some packages that offer additional enhancements. This trim is eligible for the ProAssist safety package with more advanced safety aids and the Essential package with heated seats.
Sensory is the next trim in the lineup. It includes an air purifier, leather upholstery, memory sport seats, a 16-speaker premium Bose audio system, and paddle shifters. The Red Sport 400 has exterior and interior styling effects, a more powerful engine, premium leather seats, and an available package with additional driver-assist safety aids.
WHAT'S UNDER THE HOOD OF THE INFINITI Q50?
Engine availability for the 2021 Q50 depends on the trim. The first three trim levels have the same engine, a 3.0L V6 with a twin-turbo design. This engine's power capabilities are 300 HP and almost 300 LB-FT of torque.
The Red Sport 400 has its own engine that produces more power at a maximum of 400 HP. This engine's torque output also increases to 350 LB-FT. Both engines are connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain for the Q50, but you can choose to get all-wheel drive instead if you prefer.
TECHNOLOGIES TO KEEP YOU SAFE
Safety varies by trim for the Q50. The necessary safety aids include automatic emergency braking and forward-collision warning. A panoramic backup camera, blind-spot monitoring, cruise control, and lane-keep assist are some additional safety features that are standard or available through the ProActive package.
