2026 INFINITI QX80 vs 2026 Nissan Armada

Serving Scottsdale, AZ

If you require a large SUV with ample space, both the INFINITI QX80 and the Nissan Armada are solid choices. Each vehicle provides three rows of seating to accommodate large families on any adventure. The INFINITI QX80 is a high-ranking luxury SUV, whereas the Nissan Armada is a dependable and competitive entry in the full-size class. Here is a look at how these two compare to help you make an informed decision.

Design

The INFINITI QX80 is designed with a striking and high-fashion exterior. It includes a standard panoramic sunroof, 20-inch wheels, and a hands-free power liftgate. The Luxe model steps up to 22-inch wheels, and the Sport trim features dark exterior trim and specialized wheels. The Autograph trim offers a unique look with its contrasting roof color.

The Nissan Armada features a more squared-off, boxy design and offers less stylistic variety between its trims. The base version starts with 18-inch wheels, and 22-inch wheels are only available if you choose the highest trim level.

Features and Amenities

Inside the 2026 QX80, you will find a premium cabin with high-quality appointments throughout the lineup. The entry-level trim includes synthetic leather and standard captain’s chairs for the second row. It also comes standard with a heated steering wheel and heated seats for both the front and middle rows. Standard tech includes a large 14.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a wireless phone charger.

The Nissan Armada SV, the base model, has fewer standard amenities than the INFINITI. While it also features synthetic leather seats, it does not include a standard heated steering wheel or heated seats. Captain’s chairs are not standard on this base trim either. Furthermore, the SV features a 12.3-inch touchscreen and lacks a standard wireless charger.

Performance

The 2026 INFINITI QX80 is equipped with a 3.5L turbocharged V6 engine that produces 450 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.

The 2026 Armada also uses a turbocharged V6, though its output is slightly lower at 425 horsepower, while it maintains the same torque levels as the QX80.
