CELEBRATE ELVIS WEEK AT THE MUSICAL INSTRUMENT MUSEUM THIS AUGUST

Elvis Week is coming up this August! The perfect time of the year to let out your inner Hound Dog and do a little Jail House Rock in honor of the King of Rock-n-Roll, Elvis Week is every Elvis fan’s favorite holiday.

To celebrate all things Elvis, the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) will be holding a fun exhibit about the King – Musical Icon Celebration: Elvis.

The exhibit will highlight the life of Elvis with special Curator Talks, as well as hands-on activities and a MIMQuiz dedicate to “The King.”

According to their website, “The Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) enriches our world by collecting, preserving, and making accessible an astonishing variety of musical instruments and performance videos from every country in the world. MIM offers guests a welcoming and fun experience, incomparable interactive technology, dynamic programming, and exceptional musical performances.”

The museum is located near Desert Ridge next to the 101, which should be convenient for families looking for fun family outings in North Phoenix.
