The INFINITI QX80 ranks among the highest-rated large SUVs on the market today. During Monterey Car Week at The Quail, INFINITI recently introduced two new QX80 concept models: the QX80 Track Spec and the QX80 Terrain Spec. The performance-focused Track Spec is designed to excite driving enthusiasts, while the rugged Terrain Spec is engineered to enhance off-road capability. While these concept vehicles are not currently slated for production, they provide a compelling preview of what the QX80 could offer in the future.

QX80 Track Spec

At the heart of the QX80 Track Spec is a reworked 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. A revised turbo system and upgraded performance exhaust dramatically increase output, with INFINITI estimating more than 650 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain delivers thrilling acceleration, while a track-tuned chassis improves handling precision. Large Brembo brakes further support confident, high-performance driving.

From a design standpoint, the QX80 Track Spec delivers a commanding presence. A sporty rear diffuser and quad exhaust outlets reinforce its performance character. The matte black-blue exterior wrap adds a unique visual flair, and exclusive 24-inch wheels complete the concept’s bold, athletic look.

QX80 Terrain Spec

Built for adventure, the QX80 Terrain Spec is aimed at drivers who enjoy exploring beyond paved roads. This concept is equipped for demanding off-road conditions with all-terrain tires, off-road wheels, and an increased ride height to handle rough terrain. Invisible Hood View technology helps drivers spot obstacles ahead, enhancing confidence on the trail. Even with its rugged construction, the Terrain Spec remains focused on delivering a comfortable ride.

The QX80 Terrain Spec also features a distinctly rugged design. Durable fender flares and a roof-mounted lightbar highlight its off-road intent, while a side-exit exhaust adds to its muscular appearance. A satin dark basalt vinyl wrap further complements the tough styling. For outdoor adventures, the integrated pop-up tent adds an extra layer of convenience.
